Coming up...

Speaker: Kate Coleman

Rev Dr Kate Coleman is the former president of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (2006/7), associate pastor of a church plant in Birmingham and director of ‘Next Leadership’.

Kate is a popular preacher, teacher, speaker, lecturer and advisor. With over 20 years pastoral and leadership experience, Kate has gained a reputation as a visionary and an inspiration to many. She embodies the principles of consistency, honesty and integrity in her work and is an inspirational, amusing and (quite simply!) fantastic lady to listen to. Kate was the first black woman Baptist minister in the UK and is passionately committed to making disciples and growing leaders. Her work extends across church denominations, cultural groups, generations, class and gender. Kate has made contributions to a variety of publications and her media contributions include press, radio and TV.

…and one more bit of helpful information - Kate has a dangerous interest in shortbread biscuits, not quite matched by her interest in going to the gym!

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles'
